Strelitzia augusta

The Strelitzia augusta, popularly known as white bird of paradise or giant strelitzia, is a large, perennial plant native to South Africa, notable for its large, paddle-shaped leaves similar to those of a banana tree, and its striking white and bluish bird-shaped flowers, held aloft on sturdy stems.
