Cycas revoluta

Cycas revoluta: Characteristics and Care

The Cycas revoluta, popularly known as sago palm, is a palmate-looking plant, although it is not a true palm but a cycad, notable for its rigid, pinnate, and very symmetrical dark green and shiny leaves, arranged in a rosette on a short, thick trunk.

Its structural foliage and extremely slow growth make it a highly valued choice as a prominent specimen in both gardens and large containers.

It tolerates moderate drought well once established and adapts to different soil types, provided it has good drainage.

At Ornacom we cultivate each specimen directly, guaranteeing a balanced size and vigorous development from the first years of planting.
